  • Lepers were very unclean people and often outcasted by many.
  • Though this man was unclean, Jesus embraced him.
  • Matthew 8:23-27 (Jesus in the storm)
  • Realizing that Jesus is with us in our storms of life.
  • Proverbs 18:24 – Jesus is that friend.
  • It can be easier said than done because we are so focused on what is in front of us and can easily be distracted.
  • Philippians 4:7
  • John 5:1-9 (Pool of Bethesda)
  • The pool of Bethesda is also called a pool of mercy by some.
  • This man at the pool of Bethesda was there with no one to help him get in the pool for the stirring of the water.
  • Titus 3:5 – God is rich in mercy to save us.
