Bible Study – Salt and Light

Notes

• Salt and light are very important to life. We would have no light on this earth without the sun. Also salt or sodium is an important part of a healthy diet. Now too much sodium can become a problem, just like if the earth was any closer to the sun we would have no life on this planet. We must trust in God’s design and order. 
• In the Scriptures, we are given clear instructions on how to be the salt and light of the earth as believers individually and collectively as the church.

• When something lacks salt it loses its taste.

• We are also the light of the earth. We are to let the light of Jesus shine through us.
