      • Died in the city of Alexandria when they drug him around the streets with a rope around his neck.
      • More of an action-packed Gospel.
      • Gentile reader focus.
    • Luke – Luke
      • AD 59-75
      • Also wrote Acts.
      • Companion of the Apostle Paul.
      • Not one of the original 12, but may have been one of the 70 disciples.
      • Was a physician.
      • Hellinist audience.
      • Believed to die a martyr.
    • John – Apostle John
      • AD 85
      • Also wrote:

      • 2 John
      • 3 John
      • Revelation
      • Apostle of Love
      • Was thrown into boiling oil to die by escaping untouched.
      • Believed to have died after AD 98, only Apostle did not die as a martyr.
