    • Practice truth – morally, ethically, and spiritually.
    • It should be very clear that our works are done to bring glory to God.

      • Ministers are friends of the bridegroom; He is coming for a pure bride.
    • Jesus must increase in us while we decrease. We live for Jesus not ourselves.

    • Jesus is above everything; He came from above.

      • We have unlimited access to the best Teacher.

    • We have everlasting life if we believe and trust in Him. Verse 36 AMP
  • John 4:1-5
    • V.1 starts out with therefore, look back to chapter 3. Importance of context.
    • They avoided Samaria because the soil was unclean.
      • Because in 720 BC Samarian people were conquered by the Assyrians.

    • V.4: Jesus HAS to go through Samaria.
    • They stop at place called Jacobs well, Jesus stays there when disciples go.
  • John 4:6-15
    • Jesus asks Samarian women to give Him a drink of water.
    • Disciples are out getting food.
    • Women questions Jesus because she is to have no dealings with Him being a Jew.
    • Jesus talks to her about Living Water.
      • Romans 5:15
    • V.13/12 He is talking about the Holy Spirit.
    • V.15: Her mindset is in the natural realm, when Jesus is speaking of spiritual things.
